Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms with convenient amenities for business travelers, but the pricing may not fully align with the value. The service stands out for its warm and friendly approach, making guests feel welcomed. The location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions, while the dining options vary in quality and pricing. Overall, a good choice with some room for improvement in pricing and dining quality.
The hotel is perfectly located facing the water, offering clean, comfortable, and exceptionally quiet rooms. Service needs improvement but includes convenient options like car hire and valet parking. The excellent location provides easy access to waterfront restaurants, attractions, and the Gaslamp district. Dining was delicious but lacked breakfast coverage for two. Additional facilities enhance the overall stay.
Being on the 35th floor provided us with an excellent view over San Diego. The staff were very professional and friendly, and I would definitely stay there again. However, not receiving a call back from the manager after booking 9 rooms was a bit disappointing. The breakfast included was perfect for 5 people.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room I had with an awesome view of the harbor was in poor shape with damaged wall paper and blinds, but it was gorgeous, sparkling clean, updated, with huge windows offering beautiful bay views. The service was exceptional, from the greeting at check-in to every interaction with the staff. The location was fantastic, just steps away from Seaport Village and within walking distance to downtown. The dining experience was good but quite expensive with limited options. The hotel facilities were decent.
The Hard Rock Hotel overlooks the bay and offers picturesque views. The rooms were very clean and in perfect order. While there was a slight delay in readiness upon early arrival, the staff assured communication. The service was among the most friendly yet professional, going above and beyond to accommodate requests. The exceptional location at Sea Port Village enhances the stay, close to various attractions and local dining options. However, improvements could enhance competitiveness with nearby alternatives.
My stay at the hotel started with a bit of a hiccup as the room was not ready, but once I got settled, I was pleased with the large room and amazing ocean view. While it was a frustrating start, the price made up for some of the inconvenience.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful ceiling-to-floor windows. Check-in was a bit delayed, but the size and coziness of the room made up for it. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room wasn't ready initially, but for a small extra cost, I upgraded to the presidential room with a great view. The staff promised to inform me when the new room was ready, which was a nice touch.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room setup was unique, being two old rooms joined together to form a living room with a bar table and kitchenette. While the cleanliness was satisfactory, the bathroom felt dated with an old shower curtain and a shower in need of maintenance. However, the location was amazing, overlooking the bay in downtown San Diego, near popular spots like Seaport Village and the Gaslamp quarter. The service was top-notch, especially from Sammy at breakfast and Daniel, the car valet. Dining options were limited and pricey. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
